In 2019, New City Developers sold 194 real estate units. This is 29% less than last year (in 2018 were sold 273 real estate units).
However, the total area of the property which was sold in 2019 only decreased by 22%. This difference is due to the change in the average area of apartments sold in 2019.
The average apartment size in 2019 was 67 m², while in 2018 it was about 60 m². The trend of increase in demand for comfortable apartments is also confirmed by the number of requests in sales offices.
Key factors for reducing sales:
- presidential and parliamentary elections in the first half of the year;
- a significant gain + 17% of the hryvnia against the dollar and the euro in the second half of the year;
- two sales offices in the Alexandrovsky 2.0 residential complex and Smart Plaza Polytech were closed;
- the bankruptcy of the Ukrbud company.
Interestingly is the fact that the cost of one contact in 2019 was about 600 UAH, while in 2018 it was 672 UAH /contact, while the conversion in sales has not changed. Because of in-house marketing, we were able to increase our efficiency this year. This strategy allows us to be leader, while all developers are doing similar marketing activities.
